Ingredients

 

Rice

Mixed Frozen Veggies

Sesame Oil

or Chili Oil (optional)

Low Sodium Soy Sauce

1 Egg (optional)

 

Directions

 

Make the regular amount of rice you usually make for the regular amount of time,

 

Halfway through the cook cycle (about 10 minutes into the cooking cycle)

 

Put a nice layer of the veggies on top of the rice

and drizzle some sesame oil and a tiny bit of soy sauce,

 

When there's only 3 minutes left, you crack the egg in the middle on top of the veggies,

 

Replace the lid and it cooks the egg in the remaining time.

 

Some folks don't want to use the egg and leave it out.

Different Version - takes more time and more ingredients
